We invite you to join us as we strive to be The Most Trusted Partner for Health.The Manager Radiology - 2 is responsible for managing radiology services for the facility, including planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling all department activities. Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires. INTEGRIS Health is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.The Manager Radiology - 2 responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Manages department staff, including hiring, evaluating performance and competency, and conducting disciplinary/counseling sessions as neededConducts short- and long-range departmental planning including budgeting, planning for new projects, technology, the design and renovation of physical facilities, and utilization of space and organization of servicesDirects the delivery and evaluation of the quality of care provided to patients through an on-going Quality Assurance ProgramEstablishes and monitors programs and activities necessary for departmental compliance with the requirements of Joint Commission, NRC and other agenciesEstablishes a plan for the replacement of major equipment, including necessary capital improvementDevelops and maintains a working system of procedures and staffing manuals to communicate and provide problem referral information with respect to policies and practicesReports to assigned leaderThis position may have additional or varied physical demand and/or respiratory fit test requirements.Please consult the Physical Demands Project SharePoint site or contact Risk Management/Employee Health for additional information.Exposed to traffic accidents while traveling, weather conditions when traveling, and frequent stress.Work may be required after hours and on weekends.Exposed to potential health hazards when working with patients.All applicants will receive consideration regardless of membership in any protected status as defined by applicable state or federal law, including protected veteran or disability status.Bachelor's degree in management/business administration preferredGraduation from an AMA accredited program of Radiological TechnologyCertification in Radiologic Technology, R.T., A.R.R.T., ARDMS or equivalent requiredCT experience preferredKnowledge and technical skills to use a variety of highly specialized radiographic equipment and related procedures3 years previous healthcare supervisory experience, preferred5 years of technical and patient care experience as a Radiographer; actual procedures, computed tomography, ultrasonography, nuclear medicine or radiation therapyMust be able to communicate effectively in Englishby Jobble
