INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of the ECMO team, you will play a critical role in managing a variety of critically ill patients, and delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. This position provides the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to deliver exceptional patient care.In this high acuity area, the provider will:Provide comprehensive care in a CVICU and/or Transplant ICU setting, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of critically ill patients.Manage patient care through daily rounds, formulating care plans, placing orders, adjusting treatment plans, and performing various procedures.Work closely with heart failure, CT surgery, vascular surgery, and transplant specialists in managing complex patient populations.Manage a diverse range of conditions, including heart failure, cardiothoracic and vascular surgery, MCS devices (VAD, Impella, IABP, VV and/or VA ECMO), and transplant patients (heart, lung, kidney, liver, pancreas).The specialty critical care team is highly respected and provides high acuity care for the transplant, LVAD, ECMO and advanced heart failure populations.
