• Employment Type: Travel************** ONLY TRAVELERS ACCEPTED **************Hourly Pay: $67/hr -- Location: Oklahoma City -- Contract: 13 WeeksGeneral Description:Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse (RN) provides nursing care in a hospital setting to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex. The RN will be responsible for delivering quality patient care, monitoring health conditions, and assisting physicians during treatment and procedures.Essential Responsibilities:Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients.Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments, noting any changes in physician orders for assigned patients.Assist physicians in the examination of patients and in performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatments.Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients, observing for any changes in their condition and intervening as necessary.Administer prescribed medications, and initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products.Provide competent and compassionate patient care.Communicate with patients and families to share care plans during their hospital stay and at discharge.Inform patients and families of hospital procedures and policies.Refer patients to appropriate personnel for additional care needs.Delegate tasks to support staff as needed.General Responsibilities:Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or hospital management.Required Skills & Experience:Minimum of 1 year of experience in a pediatric setting.Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services effectively.Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with healthcare team members.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to respond to the cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.Basic computer skills.Required Education:Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.Preferred Education:Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher from a Board-approved program.Required Certifications & Licensure:RN License (Oklahoma or Multistate)BLS through AHA.PALS through AHA.For more details, please get in touch with us at - Sujal Tomar.#HC2025Job Types: Travel nursing, ContractPay: $2,412.00 per weekCWS Health Job ID #15.
